Aling-Aling Waterfall
about 150 minutes
A twin fall in a gorge with three smaller falls upstream where guides run jumps and natural rock slides. You can watch instead of jumping. Steps down are steep and the handrail matters.

Gitgit Waterfall
about 75 minutes
A single high fall at the end of a paved path through clove and coffee trees, the easiest of the northern waterfalls to reach. Ten minutes each way on a good surface. Spray reaches the viewing platform.

Banjar Hot Spring
about 90 minutes
Three stone pools in a garden, fed by sulphur springs through carved naga spouts you can sit under. Changing rooms and lockers on site. Warm water in the rain is no hardship.

Brahmavihara Arama
about 45 minutes
Bali's largest Buddhist monastery, terraced up a hillside with a copy of Borobudur's stupas and a view down to the north coast. Quiet, swept and orderly. Shoulders and knees covered.
