About us
We are a small team in Denpasar. We drive people around our own island for a living, and we would rather do it properly than cheaply.
Why we started
Most Bali day tours are sold as a fixed list of eleven stops, half of which are shops that pay a commission. Guests come back tired and a little cheated, and the driver takes home a fraction of what was paid. We thought both halves of that could be fixed at once.
So we built the opposite. You choose your own stops from places we actually recommend. The price is one line, published on every page. The driver-guide is paid a fixed, fair fee for each trip, whether or not you buy a single sarong.
How a trip works
- You build the trip: pick an area, up to four stops, and where you want lunch.
- We check the driving time, so your trip stays a day out and not a race between car parks.
- A driver-guide picks you up at your hotel or villa at the hour you chose.
- You pay in Rupiah. Prices in other currencies on this site are an approximation only.
- After the trip, your photos arrive by email.
Our drivers
Every driver-guide holds a driving licence and is from here. Before anyone drives a guest, our office checks their licence, ID and car papers. We pay a fixed fee per completed trip, so nobody has a reason to push you towards a shop.
Some of them drive their own car. Some work through a local transport company we partner with. Either way, the same standards and the same price apply.
